Dr Banerjee obtained her MBBS degree from Bankura Sammilani Medical College in 2004. She has done MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (IPGME&R) and MCh in Gynaecological Oncology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Dr Banerjee also holds a Diploma in Psychiatry (DPM) done from R G Kar Medical College under The West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

Area of Interest
Dr Banerjee has more than 15 years of experience in providing cancer care, performing radical cancer surgeries and independent clinical decision making in difficult and complex cases related to women reproductive tract cancer. Her areas of interest are Ovarian cancer, Cervical cancer, Preventive Oncology, and Artificial Intelligence in detection and prognostication of cancer.
