The laboratory services at CNCI Kolkata are a cornerstone of the institution's commitment to providing comprehensive and high-quality diagnostic and research capabilities. The services encompass several specialties, including:
Microbiology: Offering essential diagnostic services to identify and study microorganisms that cause infections, aiding in effective treatment planning.
Molecular Pathology: Utilizing advanced techniques to analyze genetic material and molecular markers, providing critical insights for personalized medicine and targeted therapies.
Histopathology: Examining tissues under the microscope to diagnose diseases, especially cancers, and providing detailed reports that guide clinical management.
Hematology: Conducting tests on blood and bone marrow to diagnose and monitor blood disorders, including anemia, leukemia, and clotting disorders.
Biochemistry: Performing a wide range of chemical analyses on body fluids to detect and monitor diseases, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses.

Services are available at both the first and second campuses of CNCI Kolkata, ensuring accessibility and convenience for patients and healthcare providers. The second campus offers round-the-clock laboratory services, ensuring continuous support for urgent and emergency medical needs. This campus is also NABL accredited, reflecting its adherence to the highest standards of quality and accuracy in laboratory testing. The first campus is currently in the process of obtaining NABL accreditation, underscoring the institution's ongoing commitment to excellence in laboratory services

Clinical & Academic Activities
The overall the clinical work of the ranges from conducting routine blood test to providing diagnosis of cancer through Histopathology and IHC. More than 2 Lakhs test are done in both the campuses in the sub-departments of Laboratory.
The Department is actively involved in teaching and training program. It runs DNB Pathology and MD Laboratory Medicine courses which are recognised by NMC. The department takes active part in the Cancer Research through its state of the art equipments and skilled Doctors.
