About the Department

The Department of Medical Oncology is dedicated to the comprehensive care of patients with cancer. Our multidisciplinary team comprises highly skilled oncologists, nurses, researchers, and support staff committed to providing the highest standard of care and advancing the field of oncology through cutting-edge research and clinical trials.

Our department offers a full spectrum of services, from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up care, ensuring a seamless and supportive patient experience.We specialize in the treatment of various cancers, including but not limited to breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and hematologic malignancies.

Collaboration among medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and other specialists ensures personalized and effective treatment plans for each patient.Regular tumor board meetings facilitate case discussions and the development of optimal treatment strategies.

Facilities

We utilize the latest advancements in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy. Our department is equipped with cutting-edge technology and facilities to provide advanced and precise treatments.

The department is actively involved in clinical research to explore new treatment modalities and improve patient outcomes. Patients have access to a wide range of clinical trials, offering opportunities to receive innovative therapies not yet widely available.

Clinical & Academic Activities

The Department of Medical Oncology is a hub of extensive clinical activity, providing high-quality care to a large patient population. Over the past year, the department has achieved significant milestones in patient care. The department has administered over 18,000 day care chemotherapies, offering a range of outpatient treatments that allow patients to receive necessary care without overnight hospitalization. More than 5,000 patients were treated as inpatients over the past year, reflecting our capacity to manage complex cases requiring intensive monitoring and comprehensive care.

In our commitment to advancing oncology education, the department will soon launch a DM Medical Oncology program.This specialized program aims to train physicians in advanced oncology practices, preparing them for leadership roles in the field.
