<p>The Hazra Campus of CNCI in the heart of the city of Kolkata, often referred to as the first campus of CNCI, has been a cornerstone in the fight against cancer in India. Established in 1950, CNCI was one of the earliest cancer treatment facilities in the country, and the Hazra Campus has been central to its mission. Named after the renowned Indian freedom fighter and philanthropist, Chittaranjan Das, the institute was set up to honor his memory and continue his legacy of social welfare. Over the decades, the Hazra Campus has evolved from a modest beginning into a comprehensive cancer treatment and research facility.&nbsp;</p>
