Our lab is focused on two major fields of cancer research. One is the development of anticancer drugs through repurposing of non anti-cancer drugs with the conjugation of FDA approved anticancer drug pharmacophores and the other one is the targeted drug delivery to enhance the efficacy with the minimization of toxicity. This highly interdisciplinary research combines chemist, biologist and clinician for the progress of pre-clinical studies. Our Objective is to create a pathway that bridges between chemist and biologist to translate the basic research outcome to the pre-clinic with aims of the cancer patient health benefit by improving the prognosis rate.
